Vid ombordstigning - visa att du vill åka med
Visa tydligt för föraren att du vill åka med, även om du är vid en hållplats där få linjer stannar. Kliv fram från busskuren eller hållplatsstolpen och gör ett tydligt tecken med handen. Om du har nedsatt synförmåga ställ dig så nära hållplatsstolpen som möjligt. Hållplatser är ibland mötesplatser för fler än bussresenärer, så visa att du vill resa med ankommande buss.
Om det är mörkt ute, använd reflex och gärna ficklampan på din mobil för att uppmärksamma föraren.
Hund och katt
Pälsdjur så som hund och katt samt ledarhund i arbete får åka med avgiftsfritt. Den som reser med djur ansvarar för djurets och medpassagerares säkerhet. Du kan bli avvisad eller nekad påstigning om pälsdjuret bedöms vara, eller riskerar bli, störande.
- Djuret ska färdas på golvet och vara kopplat.
- Mindre djur i resebur får placeras på ledig sittplats på skyddande underlag.
- Pälsdjur ska färdas i den bakre delen av fordonet.
- Resenär har alltid företräde till sittplats.
- Vid konflikt har allergiker alltid företräde att resa.
- Föraren har rätt att neka dig att ta ombord ditt djur om det redan finns djur ombord. Detta med hänsyn till säkerhet, andra resenärer och allergiker.
Undvik starka dofter
Som på många allmänna platser så ska vi ta hänsyn till våra medresenärer. Undvik att ha för starka dofter såsom parfym, rakvatten eller liknande ombord på bussen. Det är mycket besvärligt för allergiker och kan framkalla svåra reaktioner.
Bagage
Ett handbagage och en resväska, ett par skidor/snowboard i fodral, barnvagn eller rullstol får medföras av resenär utan avgift. Övrigt resgods medföljer i mån av plats.
- Bagage får tas med i fordonets passagerarutrymme endast till den storlek och vikt som fordonets bagagehyllor medger.
- Föraren har rätt att be dig placera ditt handbagage i bagageutrymmet om bedömningen är att bagaget till exempel är för skrymmande eller för tungt och därmed äventyrar säkerheten ombord.
- I övrigt ska bagage eller resgods förvaras i fordonets bagageutrymme.
- Fordonets mittgång ska av säkerhetsskäl hållas fri från bagage och annat gods.
- Om gods eller bagage skadas i bagageutrymmet eller om det blir stulet anmäler resenären detta till det egna försäkringsbolaget.
- Bagage med brandfarligt eller explosivt innehåll får inte tas med ombord.
- På anropsstyrd trafik får du ta med dig bagage med en maxvikt på 25 kg eller ha en volym på max 50 liter.
Barnvagn
Barnvagnen tas med avgiftsfritt i mån av plats. Passagerare som medför barnvagn ska ha en giltig färdbiljett. Två barn under 6 får resa avgiftsfritt med betalande passagerare.
Gäller både stads- och regiontrafik från och med 2025-06-01.
Barn
En betalande vuxen eller ungdom får ta med två barn under 7 år utan avgift. Barn däröver betalar ungdomspris. Har ungdomen ungdomskort/elevkort gäller det som färdbevis och får ta med sig två barn under 7 år gratis på resan.
Cykel
Cykel får tas med avgiftsfritt på bussen i mån av utrymme om det är en normalgolvsbuss. När du reser med bussar som har trappsteg vid påstigning (normalgolvsbuss) förvaras cykeln i bagageutrymmet under bussen. I lågentrébussar kan du inte ta med cykeln av säkerhetsskäl.
I anropsstyrd trafik kan du inte ta med cykeln.
Kick-bike, elkick-bike, sparkcykel eller vikbar cykel
Färdmedel som är vik- och bärbara och är mindre än 120 cm i hopfällt läge går bra att ta med på bussen. Färdmedel som inte är ihopfällbart eller som är större än 120 cm får inte tas med ombord på bussen.
När du reser med bussar utan nivåskillnad vid påstigning (lågentrébuss) i regiontrafiken och stadstrafiken får du förvara ditt vikbara färdmedel på golvet i passagerarutrymmet. Tänk på att den inte får ta upp ett säte eller placeras så den blockerar mittgångar eller utgångar eftersom det kan förhindra en snabb utrymning av bussen.
När du reser med bussar som har trappsteg vid påstigning (normalgolvsbuss) måste du av säkerhetsskäl fälla ihop ditt färdmedel och förvara den i bagageutrymmet under bussen.
Vapen
Vapen får tas med i enlighet med vapenlagen. Jaktvapen eller andra föremål som kan uppfattas som vapen ska vara emballerat och, när så erfordras i enlighet med vapenlagens bestämmelser, vara delat.
Rökning
- Rökning är inte tillåtet i eller i direkt anslutning till fordonen.
- Förbudet innefattar även e-cigaretter. E-cigaretterna ger ifrån sig en doft som kan vara besvärande för känsliga personer och kan lätt förväxlas med en vanlig cigarett.
- Det är även förbjudet att röka i anslutning till bussen, på busshållplatsen samt vid entréer till busstationer och väntsalar.
Mat och dryck
Förtäring ombord är tillåten om du tar hänsyn till medresenärer och inredning. Det är tillåtet att medföra fika, godis, dryck inklusive kaffe/te om det medförs i en termos, förpackning eller mugg som kan förslutas med lock.
- Alkoholhaltiga drycker är inte tillåtet att dricka ombord.
- Det är inte tillåtet att medföra mat som kan droppa på säten eller annan inredning. Ta hänsyn till dina medresenärer och undvik starkt luktande livsmedel i bussen.
Rullator och rullstol
Rullator och rullstol kan tas med ombord. Normalstor rullstol tas med avgiftsfritt i mån av plats med följande maxmått:
- Totallängd: 120 cm
- Totalbredd (mätt på bredaste stället): 70 cm
- Vikt (stol inklusive resenär): 300 kg
Rullstolen ska ha markerade fästpunkter. Alla modeller ryms inte i alla bussar och föraren bedömer om din rullstol ryms.
Om inte rullstolsrampen eller fästanordningarna på bussen fungerar tillfredsställande är det förarens ansvar att du kommer fram till ditt resmål. Föraren får inte lämna resenären vid hållplatsen utan att ge ett besked om hur situationen kommer att lösas.
Det får vara max tre hjulförsedda fordon i bussen, inklusive till exempel rullator, barnvagn eller rullstol.
I anropsstyrd trafik gäller följande:
Om du har behov att ta med rollator behöver du ange det vid din bokning av resa för att säkerställa att plats för denna finns. Detta eftersom transporten utförs med mindre fordon som har begränsat bagageutrymme.
Permobiler, elscootrar, eldriven rullstol
Om du har en eldriven rullstol/permobil och den klarar av kraven på längd/bredd/vikt så är den välkommen ombord. Den ska ha markerade fästpunkter för att få åka med bussen.
- Totallängd: 120 cm
- Totalbredd (mätt på bredaste stället): 70 cm
- Vikt (stol inklusive resenär): 300 kg
Permobiler och elscootrar som är 3- eller 4-hjuliga med styre (ej joystick) är instabila fordon som inte kan tas med i bussen på ett trafiksäkert sätt.
Nekad ombordstigning eller avvisad under pågående resa
Om du som resenär inte uppfyller de allmänna resevillkoren eller om du hotar, är våldsam eller på annat sätt i hög grad påverkar övriga resenärer negativt så har föraren rätt att neka ombordstigning och rätt att avvisa resenären under pågående resa.
Ingen återbetalning av resan sker eftersom när du köper biljett så godkänner du resevillkoren i och med köpet. Om du blir nekad att resa eller avvisad från bussen så beror det på att du inte följt de villkor som gäller för att resa med kollektivtrafiken.
Bilbarnstol och bälteskudde
Bilbarnstol ”Sit-safe” finns monterade i de större bussarna inom regiontrafiken. Dock kan vi inte utlova bilbarnstolar eller bälteskudde i de taxibilar som kör anropsstyrd- och närtrafik, sjukresor eller färdtjänstresor i Länstrafikens regi. Vid taxibilsresor med barn som behöver bilbarnstol eller bälteskudde är det resenärens skyldighet att efterfråga och tillkännage detta vid bokning av resan. Det finns ingen lag som säger att barnbilstol eller bälteskudde måste finnas i fordonen, vi kan därför inte garantera att detta kan tillhandahållas.
Pjäxor och skidor
Det finns två golvförstärkta bussar som trafikerar linje 157 mellan Duved – Mörsil. Dessa turer är märkta med en symbol i Länstrafikens tidtabell. På dessa två bussar kan du ha pjäxor på dig när du stiger ombord och när du åker. Du ska använda de skidställ som bussen är utrustad med för dina skidor. Observera att det finns en ökad halkrisk om du går ombord med påtagna pjäxor.
I övriga bussar i Åres linjetrafik så finns det inga förstärkningar i golv eller på säten. Det är dock inga problem att ta med skidor eller pjäxor. Skidorna placeras då i underrummet på bussen och pjäxorna förvarar du i en pjäxbag eller liknande.
Linjerna trafikeras även med en del mindre bussar som endast har 19 platser. Här är det begränsat med bagageutrymme för skidor, snowracers och liknande. Föraren bedömer om det finns plats för ditt bagage.
Är det inte en skidbuss så tar du av dig pjäxorna och chauffören hjälper till att placera pjäxorna på lämpligt ställe. Står skidbussen bakom eller avgår senare så informerar vi dig om det så kan du välja att byta buss eller vänta in skidbussen.

When it is time to board – give a clear indication that you want to board
Give a clear indication to the driver that you want to be picked up, even if you are at a bus stop that is only serviced by a few lines. Step out from the bus shelter or bus stop pole and make a clear hand signal. If you have impaired vision, stand as close to the bus stop pole as possible. Sometimes, people who do not intend to ride the bus use a bus stop as a meeting point. So, it is important that you give a clear indication to an arriving bus that you want to get on.
If it is dark outside, use reflectors and, if possible, the torch on your mobile phone to alert the driver.
Dogs and cats
Furred animals such as dogs and cats, as well as guide dogs in service, may travel free of charge. Anyone travelling with an animal is responsible for the safety of both the animal and their fellow passengers. You may be removed from the bus or denied boarding if your animal is deemed to be – or is at risk of being – disruptive.
- The animal must travel on the floor and be kept on a leash.
- Smaller animals in travel carriers may be placed on an empty seat, provided that suitable protective material is placed underneath it.
- Furred animals must travel in the rear of the vehicle.
- Passengers always take priority over animals when it comes to seating.
- In the event of a conflict, passengers with allergies always have priority when travelling.
- The driver has the right to refuse to allow your animal on board if there are already other animals on the bus. This is done to ensure safety and out of consideration for other passengers and individuals with allergies.
Luggage
Passengers may bring one piece of hand luggage and one suitcase, one pair of skis/snowboard in a case, a pram or a wheelchair on board free of charge. Other baggage may be brought on board if space permits.
- Luggage may only be brought into the passenger area of the vehicle if it is within the size and weight limits of the vehicle’s luggage racks.
- The driver has the right to ask you to place your hand luggage in the luggage compartment if the luggage is deemed to be too bulky, too heavy, etc. and compromises safety on board.
- Otherwise luggage or baggage must be stored in the vehicle’s luggage compartment.
- For safety reasons, the vehicle’s aisle must be kept free of luggage and other goods.
- If goods or luggage are damaged in the luggage compartment or stolen, the passenger must report this to their own insurance company.
- Luggage containing flammable or explosive contents may not be taken on board.
- On a bus in on-demand service, you may bring luggage with a maximum weight of 25 kg or a maximum volume of 50 litres.
Prams
Prams can be brought on board free of charge, if space permits, and the adult passenger must purchase a ticket. Two children under the age of 6 may travel free of charge with a paying adult.
This applies to both city and regional services from 1 June 2025.
Children
One paying adult or young person may bring two children under the age of 7 free of charge. Additional children pay the youth fare. If the young person has a youth card/student card, this is valid as a ticket, and they may bring two children under the age of 7 along on the trip free of charge.
Bicycles
Bicycles may be transported on standard-floor buses free of charge, if space permits. On buses with steps at the entrance (standard-floor buses), bicycles must be stored in the luggage compartment under the bus. For safety reasons, bicycles are not permitted on low-floor buses.
Bicycles are not permitted on buses in on-demand service.
Kick bikes, electric scooters, kick scooters and folding bicycles
Folding and portable means of transport that are less than 120 cm when folded can be transported on the bus. Means of transport that are not foldable or that are larger than 120 cm may not be brought on board the bus.
When travelling on buses without a level difference when boarding (low-entry buses) operating regional and city services, you may store your foldable means of transport on the floor in the passenger area. Please note that it must not occupy a seat or block any aisle or exit, as this could prevent the bus from being evacuated quickly in an emergency.
When travelling on buses with steps at the entrance (standard-floor buses), for reasons of safety, you must fold up your means of transport and store it in the luggage compartment under the bus.
Weapons
Weapons may be brought on board in accordance with the Weapons Act. Hunting weapons or other weapon-like items must be in protective packaging and, when required under the provisions of the Weapons Act, must be disassembled.
Smoking
- Smoking is not permitted in or in the immediate vicinity of the vehicles.
- This ban also includes e-cigarettes. E-cigarettes emit an odour that can be unpleasant for sensitive individuals and can easily be confused with a regular cigarette.
- Smoking is also prohibited in the vicinity of the bus, at bus stops, and at entrances to bus stations and waiting rooms.
Food and drink
Consuming food and drink on board is permitted if you show consideration for your fellow passengers and the interior of the bus. Snacks, sweets and drinks, including coffee/tea, are permitted on board if they are carried in a thermos, packaging or mug that can be sealed with a lid.
- Alcoholic beverages are not permitted on board.
- It is not permitted to bring food that may drip onto seats or other furnishings. Please be considerate of your fellow passengers and avoid bringing strong-smelling foods on the bus.
Rollators and wheelchairs
Rollators and wheelchairs can be brought on board. Standard-sized wheelchairs can be brought on board free of charge, if space permits, with the following maximum dimensions:
- Total length: 120 cm
- Total width (measured at the widest point): 70 cm
- Weight (chair with passenger): 300 kg
The wheelchair must have marked anchoring points. Not all models fit in all buses, and the driver will assess whether your wheelchair can be accommodated.
If the wheelchair ramp or anchoring devices on the bus are not working properly, it is the driver’s responsibility to ensure that you reach your destination. The driver may not leave the passenger at the bus stop without providing information on how the situation will be resolved.
There may be no more than three wheeled vehicles on the bus at the same time. This includes rollators, prams, wheelchairs and the like.
The following applies to on-demand services:
If you need to bring a rollator, you must indicate this when booking your trip to ensure that there is sufficient space for it. This is because transport is provided using a smaller vehicle with limited luggage space.
Mobility scooters, electric scooters, electric wheelchairs
If you have an electric wheelchair/mobility scooter and it meets the length/width/weight requirements, it is welcome on board. It must have marked anchoring points to be allowed on the bus.
- Total length: 120 cm
- Total width (measured at the widest point): 70 cm
- Weight (chair with passenger): 300 kg
3- or 4-wheeled mobility scooters and electric scooters with handlebars (not joysticks) are unstable vehicles that cannot be transported safely on the bus.
Denied boarding or removal during the trip
If a passenger does not meet the general terms and conditions of travel, or if they are threatening, violent or otherwise significantly negatively affecting other passengers, the driver has the right to refuse boarding and the right to remove the passenger during the trip.
No refund will be given for the trip, as when you purchase a ticket, you agree to the terms and conditions of travel. If you are refused travel or removed from the bus, it is because you have not complied with the conditions that apply to travelling on public transport.
Car seats and booster seats
Sit-safe car seats are installed in the larger buses used for regional services. However, we cannot guarantee the availability of car seats or booster seats in taxis used for on-demand and local services, medical transport or transport services organised by Länstrafiken. When travelling by taxi with a child who needs a car seat or booster seat, it is the passenger’s responsibility to request and give notice of this when booking the trip. There is no law that states that car seats or booster seats must be available in vehicles, so we cannot guarantee that these can be provided.
Ski boots and skis
There are two buses with reinforced floors that operate on line 157 between Duved and Mörsil. Services with these buses are marked with a symbol in Länstrafiken’s timetable. On these two buses, you can wear ski boots when boarding and travelling. You must place your skis in the ski racks provided on the bus. Note that there is an increased risk of slipping if you board the bus while wearing ski boots.
Other buses servicing Åre do not have reinforced floors or seats. However, there is no problem bringing skis or ski boots on board. Skis must then be placed in the luggage compartment under the bus, and ski boots must be stored in a boot bag or similar.
Some of the routes are also serviced by smaller buses with only 19 seats. These have limited luggage space for skis, snowracers and similar items. The driver will assess whether there is room for your luggage.
If it is not a ski bus, you must remove your ski boots. The driver will then help you put them in a suitable spot. If the ski bus is behind the bus or there is one that departs later, we will inform you of this so that you can decide whether to change buses or wait for the ski bus.
